As a Fantastic Bonus for each class you take with us you will earn a Beautiful Siesta Sterling Silver Charm.  If you attend all 12 you will receive a Graduation Charm also!  Come in the shop to see these, they are so nice.

Stop throwing away half of those squares you used to pop off a corner and start saving your fabric by using the Corner Pop.  Before you know it, you will be popping off the corners of every unit.  the Corner Pop does just that, it helps to add a pop of color to any unit and can add a secondary pattern to your quilt.

* Required tools: Corner Pop and Quilter's Magic Wand
*Required Technique Sheet:  none
*Required Design Sheet:  Corner Pop
NOTE:  the design sheet will be available for purchase on class days

* These items can be purchased at Quilter's Cottage

Straight edge ruler approx. 6" x 12" - I really recommend the 8 1/2" x 24 as you will be cutting WOF
Invisigrip
Best Press or light starch

If you wish to do your pre-class prep work it would help, if you do not understand wait until class day but have units cut and as much prep-work done as you can.  This will help.  If not doing pre-work bring all your past tools with you to this class!

Fabric Requirements:
Fabrics will be cut during class.  Therefore, the fabric requirements are healthy amounts so that you can make your own design choices during class.

For course 1-701, we recommend the following yardage:

fabric requirements:
Approximately (2) strips of fabric that measure no less than 3 1/4".  For best results, these strips should read as a solid and be in strong contrast to your Pre-class units as specified below.

Pre-class contruction of units:
(4) 4 1/2" squares of fabric
(4) 4 12" (cut size) half square triangles*
Units of your choice that have a cut size of 4 1/2" or in the case of a flying goose the cut size would be 4 1/2" x 2 1/2".  For example, you might elect to contruct (4) 4 1/2" quarter square triangle* unite, or (4) 4 1/2" V Blocks* units, or (4) 4 1/2" Corner Beam* units.

*Unit that can be constructed using a Studio 180 Design tool.
