1/3 yard focal fabric 1/2 yard contrasting fabric (this will be the back with a small amount showing on the front) 2 - 1" buttons matching thread to sew on buttons neutral thread for piecing
Sewing machine (in good working condition), power cord / foot petal, 1/4" foot Basic sewing supplies - pins and pincushion, seam ripper, rotary cutter, mat, 8 1/2" x 24" ruler
