Before class: (In order to finish the bag in class, please have the following completed)

Take 2 pieces of the BOSAL and press focus fabric onto one side of 1 BOSAL and the lining onto the other piece of BOSAL.  You will do this twice so you have 2 focus (outside) fabric pieces and 2 lining pieces.  You will have sandwiched 4 pieces of the form with fabric ironed on to them.

Using clips, layer a focus fabric and lining fabric BOSAL pieces together.  Iron and steam them so you have one piece of foam with a focus fabric and lining fabric on each side.  Do this for the other side.

Once these are steamed together, mark with erasable pen, 13 1/2" from each side to find the center.  Start quilting here and continue using 3/4" or 1" between each of the lines.  I use a walking foot here and a 3.0 stitch length.

Once you have it quilted, we will trim down to 24 1/2" x 17"

Having your sides pre-quilted will help us complete this bag in class.
