The Jelly Roll Rug Pattern
1 Jelly Roll or 42 - 2 1/2" strips
1 roll 50 yards 2/5 Katahdin batting
package of 90/14 sharp sewing machine needles
1 shoe box
1 large salad bowl
1 large spool Aurifil Thread
Wonder Clips
Pre Class Work -
1. Sew strips together diagonally as if you were doing binding trim seam to a 1/4" and press open.
2. Fan fold the strip at 12" to 16" long increments.
3. Tie loosely at both ends (near the folds) with a scrap of fabric to keep in the fan folded position and place in the shoe box. |
