Quilting is about giving back.
Here at Quilter's Cottage we are asking you to come quilt with us and donate your quilt to the Make A Wish charity.
They are in desperate need for Lap Size Quilts to give to the Make A Wish Child. We are asking in the nicest way not to pull the unwanted "ugly" fabric from your stash, but instead make this quilt special by picking quality, beautiful "happy" prints. It will become a cherished family keepsake.
No charge for open sewing that day, bring your friends and your supplies and be part of a miracle! You pay for the batting and thread and QC will quilt that quilt for you no charge. You must have attended this sewing day at the shop to qualify for this quilting donation. Binding is on you :)
A 10 fat quarter Easy as 123 pattern from our shop is a perfect project for this and you can make it in one day!
A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions. For many, the wish marks a turning point in the fight against their illnesses. Doctors, nurses and other health professionals say, the wish experience works in concert with medicine to make their patients feel better emotionally and even physically. That is why wishes matter.
